Creamy Chicken Alfredo Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 bag mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)
  • 1 box rotini noodles (or pasta of your choice), cooked and drained
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
  • Your favorite side dish (such as garlic bread)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the Chicken and Noodles:
    • Shred the rotisserie chicken and set aside. Cook the rotini noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Assemble the Dish:
    • In a 9×13-inch baking pan, combine the cooked noodles, shredded chicken, and chicken broth. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the mixture. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together to combine evenly.
  4. Bake the Casserole:
    • Cover the baking pan with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld and the dish to heat through.
  5. Add Cheese and Bake Again:
    • After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the oven. Stir the contents to mix everything well. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. Return the pan to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove the creamy chicken Alfredo bake from the oven. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot with your favorite side, such as garlic bread, and enjoy your delicious homemade meal!

This dish is perfect for a comforting family dinner and is a great way to use leftover rotisserie chicken!
